Just over the weekend of the first week of June, a 26-year-old-man identified as Patrick Onoja Igah was beaten mercilessly for raping a 7-year-old girl inside the 7th wonder church premises in Owukpa area of Benue state.
According to DSP Anene Sewuese Catherine confirmed the crime newsmen, she said;

”It is true. The girl is 7-years-old. She has been taken to the hospital. The suspect is 26-years old. It happened when the girl went to buy something and the suspect lured into the 7th Wonder church where he raped.”
Adding to the update, the police spokesperson, Anene said the police force in the state is also on the trail of another suspected rapist, Ediga Uja who was reported to have raped a 15-year-old girl, identified as Ene on her way back from the farm.
This happened on the 3rd of June at Otukpo town of Benue state. Reports say the Ediga apprehended the girl on the road-side, beat her up, and dragged her into an empty house to rape her and went on the run ever since the community found out about what he did to the little girl.
