Prayers and blessings poured in for Nigerian Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed, after they announced scholarships for 50 students at the University of Port Harcourt during their Overwhelming Victory Concert.
Addressing the audience, Mercy Chinwo and Pastor Blessed revealed their generous gesture of offering 1-year scholarships to 50 Uniport students on behalf of their son.
In response, comments flooded the section with blessings and well-wishes for the couple. Many commended their noble act and prayed for God’s abundant blessings upon them.
Meanwhile, actress Funke Akindele recently garnered praise for offering to cover the educational expenses of a TikToker who expressed disinterest in school. Funke, through her TikTok live video, encouraged the young woman to return to school and pledged to support her financially.
