A man whose name has not been disclosed was shot 8 times in his apartment in Birmingham by a gunman while his girlfriend watched.
A report by Daily Mail says the gunman went into the man’s house and 8 shots were heard according to the neighbors who thought they were fireworks.

The gunman is currently on the run as police are performing investigations to hunt the shooter down.
The area is guarded with security men on the lookout and a BMW van with bullet holes in it was also found outside his home.
A neighbor who paid attention to the gunshots said;
‘I was just going to bed and I heard ‘bang’, ‘bang’, ‘bang’.
‘I didn’t realise what it was at first – I thought it was fireworks. Then the police arrived and the paramedics.
‘There were three people outside the house crying. I heard one of them say ‘he has been shot’.
