Lagos state government has ordered both private and public schools to resume second term on the 18th of January, 2021.
This was made known by the Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo.
According to her, the date was chosen so as to be I. Line with the Federal Government’s directive on the second wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

She added that all schools should be prepared for resumption and adhere by COVID-19 protocols and regulations.
She said;
Not just for the improvement of overall school operations but for the safe reopening of academic activities to support the Lagos State Government’s quest for a full return.”
she also stressed that basic facilities should be put in place such as a platform where a teacher who is sick should be able to teach from home, same as the students.
Face mask 😷 should be worn by teachers, students and visitors. Physical social distance should also be Maintained, and running water with a hand washing soap should be provided according to her.
