Uduah Frank Akpan, the man responsible for the death of late job seeker Iniubong Umoreh, has been sentenced to death by hanging.
The elder brother of late Iniubong Umoreh revealed that his family is pleased with the court’s decision in a live video broadcast by BBC on Facebook from the high court in Uyo.
He went on to say that he had no idea a family like his could get justice so quickly. Their lawyer, on the other hand, stated that while justice was served, it was tragic that it could not bring the deceased back to life.
