Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has reacted to the uproar of Nigerians over President Buhari not addressing the nation over the recent coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Lai Mohammed emphasized that the Nigerian leader may not have any new information about the pandemic to pass to Nigerians as it has already been made available. He told newsmen that President Buhari will address the nation at the appropriate time.
“When it is appropriate, Mr President will address the nation. But, I think what you want to hear from Mr President are the kind of things we are telling you.
“This is not to preempt or second guess Mr President, I think he will do the needful.”
