A pastor has been arrested for holding the easter service on Sunday despite several warnings by the government to not do so. The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), located in Ogijo, in Sagamu Local Government area of Ogun State was locked down while the pastor was arrested.

The cleric man known as Pastor Jonathan Olowonisile was arrested with some other members of the church and according to DAILY POST, the worshippers who attended the service fled very quickly when they spotted the movement of policemen towards the church.

Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the arrest and according to him;

Our men arrested one Pastor Jonathan Olowonisile today, (Sunday) for contravening the order against high-density gathering
