Liverpool who are the EPL defending champion are back in action on Sunday as they face one of the top four teams of last season, Chelsea as the match kick off at 4:30pm.
After finishing fourth last season, Frank Lampard has massively reinforced his first-team squad with the arrivals of Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Eduardo Mendy who is on the way.
The Blues had a 3-1 win over Brighton in their Premier League opener on Monday and could make a real statement with a victory over Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Liverpool, meanwhile, started their season with a 4-3 win over newly-promoted Leeds United, although defensive lapses meant that it was anything but comfortable for the Reds in their first game as defending champions for 30 years.
However, three points against Chelsea would show everybody that Klopp means business once again.
