An uncompleted Eight Storey building in Imo state near Yaradua Drive and the Lords Chosen Church in Owerri collapsed taking the life of two people.
The Head of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) office in the state, Mr. Evans Ugoh confirmed the death of the two people that the building killed. He also added that about seven people have been rescued and hospitalized so far and the people who live around the building believed that others are still trapped in the wreck.

“For now, we are focusing on the rescue operation, investigations into the cause of the collapse will be followed immediately.
“We have taken those already rescued to the hospital for medical attention, while a further search is still ongoing,”
