The government of Rwanda has announced a new development in fighting the pandemic in the Rwanda whose Coronavirus confirmed case is just 308 with 209 people recovery and 0 death.
The Rwanda Biomedical Centre made the announcement of the development in fighting the virus on their official twitter page on the 19th of May, 2020.
The robots are to help reduce the risks faced by the doctors and nurses in treating the virus.

According to Rwanda’s Minister of Information, Communication Technology and Innovation, Paula Ingabire, he said;
“The infectious nature of COVIDー19 calls for technological innovations to tackle the pandemic. This is why Rwanda has introduced robots, drones among high-tech initiatives to enhance efficiency in the fight.”
Adding to the above statement, the Rwanda Biomedical Centre Director-General, Sabin Nsanzimana, said;
“There is no better cause than investing in health. These robots will reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 among health workers and facilitate the transition from paper-based patient files to digital records at the Rwanda Ministry of Health.”
