Rio Ferdinand has suggested that Man United should opt-in for one of these players; Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester City, Thomas Partey, or Saul Niguez of Atletico Madrid this summer.
He also added that they need to work on their defense, so they should give an eye to Ben Godfrey of Norwich city or Napoli centre-back, Kalidou Koulibaly.
According to the Red Devil’s Legend, he said in order for Man United to compete for the EPL title next season, they need extra talented players on the field.
Let us recall that Man United signed Bruno and the Nigerian born striker, Ighalo in January but Ferdinand has advised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to sign two to three players out of the ones he has listed above to have more edge. He said;
“I would maybe go get Partey from Atletico Madrid or Ndidi from Leicester,” Ferdinand said on The Beautiful Game podcast.
I like Saul Niguez. He’s a very, very good player in midfield.
And then a centre-back, they still need a centre-back.
Whether you go for a young one like Ben Godfrey or someone like Kalidou Koulibaly.
I don’t know, and it is difficult.”
