The Benin state Zonal Office of the EFCC has arrested a staff of First Bank of Nigeria Plc for stealing N18.9 million Naira.
According to a report by the EFCC, the staff of FBN who is known as Philips Orumade was reported by the Management of the First Bank after he was caught on CCTV for trying to steal that huge sum of money.

Phillip Orumade was said to be in charge of ATM gallery keys at Aduwawa branch of the bank in Benin, on the 3rd of November, 2019, the said money disappeared and the efforts to trace the money and the thief were abortive.
According to the bank, the suspect was captured by the CCTV footage walking into the ATM gallery before using a nylon bag to cover the CCTV after he detected that the bank found out, he ran away before the EFCC announced that “The suspect has been on the run and was recently apprehended in Lagos.
And that “He has made useful statements and will soon be charged to court as soon as investigations are completed.”
