In Osogbo, Osun state, a newlywed named Ife committed suicide by incinerating her husband over alleged adultery.
Ife, who suspected her husband, Bolu, of infidelity, had fiercely annotated on her WhatsApp tales that she was taking drastic action prior to her death.

She had stated that her lover had “pushed her to the brink” and that people would grieve for the two of them before the sun came up.

Bolu, who resides in Cairo but was visiting Nigeria, was apparently set on fire at his home, and all of his belongings were burned.
The man who is identified as Teebam was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was saved. His wife at some point was nowhere to be found but after a thorough search, she was found dead and was suspected of suicide.
