The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, on Wednesday April 1st started disbursing N20, 000 to residents of Abuja as palliatives to citizens cushion the economic effects of the stay at home order in many states due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Some persons went online to publish reports that Farouq has vowed not to extend the palliatives to the South East region because they have always been canvassing for the creation of their own country, Biafra.
She posted screenshots of the viral messages on her Twitter handle with a “#FakeNewsAlert caption.
