Peter Nwachukwu is the husband of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu who passed away days ago due to a chest injury inflicted on her by her husband, Peter Nwachukwu.
Peter Nwachukwu is currently being held in Lugbe police station in Abuja because he was linked to the death of his wife. Rumors have it that Peter Nwachukwu beats his wife occasionally and would not allow her to express her free will in their marriage.

Speaking from Nigerian police detention, Peter Nwachukwu had claimed that he took his wife to a hospital for medical treatment before she passed away. According to him, he took his wife to Federal Medical Center (FMC), later to Gwagwalada General hospital, and lastly, to the National hospital, where she passed away.
Mr. Peter did not describe or mention what went wrong with his wife, Osinachi Nwachukwu but he claimed that he is not responsible for the death of his wife.
Mr. Peter was later seen on Monday morning, the 12th of April being escorted to a police van and according to intel reaching us, he was being escorted to the hospital he claimed he took his late wife to for medical treatment after her injury.
Because of his stand on the allegations levied against him, an autopsy had to be carried out on Osinachi Nwachukwu to confirm the cause of death. The Nigerian police have moved Peter Nwachukwu to their headquarters in Abuja for further questioning while they await the autopsy result.
