It hasn’t been up to a month after the Supreme court sacked Emeka Ihedioha and appointed Hope Uzodinma as the governor of Imo state.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Orlu, Imo State, was gutted by fire just yesterday, which is on Monday, February 3rd.
The spokesperson of the state police command, Mr. Orlando Ikeokwu, said the cause of the fire outbreak is yet to be known, but an investigation is ongoing.

He said to the newsmen;
“I can confirm the incident to you but the cause of fire outbreak is unknown for now. The state commissioner of police has dispatched security operatives to the scene of the incident. The deputy commissioner of Police in charge of operations led the squad to the scene”
