Kano state to close its border starting on Friday

Kano state government has also taken a move to tackle the coronavirus the same Rivers government did. In a statement released by Abba Anwar, Ganduje Chief Press Secretary, he said the governor has ordered the closure of borders linking to the state starting on Friday which is on the 27^th of MARCH BY 12:00 AM.

The statement reads according to NAN;

“This includes all kinds of movements through the borders of the state, even those coming to Kano through Domestic Wing of Malam Aminu Kano International Airport will remain at the airport, without getting access into the city.‎

According to the governor’s chief press secretary, Abba Anwar, all borders will be monitored by different security agencies to ensure they meet their objectives.
