Adedunmola Gbadegesin, a Lagos big boy who allegedly defr@uded an American lady of $148,000, has been extradited to the United States to face charges of romance sc@m, wire fr@ud, and money laundering.
If convicted, Gbadegesin, who was extradited on Monday, April 25, 2022, faces up to 20 years in prison.
According to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), his extradition was coordinated by the EFCC in response to a request from the Attorney General of the Federation, in accordance with a February 11, 2022 Order by Justice D.E Osiagor of the Federal High Court, Lagos.
