The just concluded presidential election candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi addressed Nigerians after Tinubu was announced as the president-elect of the Federation of Nigeria.
According to Peter Obi, he and his party members did not accept defeat. He added that the election which was promised to Nigeria by INEC to be a free and fair one was not conducted as promised.
He said he would be going to court to seek justice for Nigerians who voted for him to lead them into the new Nigeria that all citizens dream for.
During his statement, Peter Obi shed tears after describing the state of Nigerian youth, using his encounter with a young Nigerian graduate (lady) who is doing petty work instead of investing and benefiting from the struggles she had to go through to have a foreign education.
The country had failed her according to Peter Obi. He asked the young lady why she is doing a petty job, and she replied that she wants to learn baking but she had to settle for less to save up to buy an oven. Watch the video below:
