Phyna experienced one of the shocks of her life after her lover, Groovy, got evicted from the Big Brother Naija show.
She broke down after the eviction show was over and was consoled by the rest of the housemates regarded as finalists.

The following day, Phyna approached Chichi to clear out an immediate discomfort in her mind. Chichi had called Groovy’s name out loud and Phyna heard her.
Phyna said that when Chichi called Groovy’s name, she felt uncomfortable, adding that she felt Chichi missed him more than her who is a love partner.
She said:
“This morning, Let me tell you exactly how I felt when you said Groovy, in my mind I was like, okay, nah this girl come miss groovy pass me, because me the girlfriend no even call him name this morning and I refuse to even want to think about it”
Chichi said she just called Groovy’s name and in addition, she called Sheggz’s name too so it was definitely a casual thing. Chichi further explained that she does not fancy Groovy, stating that its a long time ago.
