Groovy has been evicted from the Big Brother Naija Level Up house. Groovy’s eviction came as a shock to his fans because he was believed to be a strong contender for the N100M.
Phyna looks devasted when her lover was evicted from the show. She could be heard saying “Jesus” after Groovy’s name was announced.
Not stopping at that, she broke down in tears as the rest of the finalists consoled her.

In a post-eviction interview, Groovy spoke about his affairs with Phyna, one of the finalists on the show. Groovy said:
I JUST FEEL LIKE FROM THE MOMENT WE MOVED DOWN TO LEVEL ONE DOWNSTAIRS, IT WAS JUST LIKE A NEW VIBE AND ENERGY.
IF WE HAD REMAINED UPSTAIRS, I DON’T THINK I WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DIVE INTO THAT.
OBVIOUSLY, SHE HAD ALREADY JOKED ABOUT THE FACT THAT SHE LIKED ME BUT IT WAS SIMPLY A THING OF NEW SPACE AS I WAS JUST GETTING TO KNOW EVERYBODY.
