The body governing the premier league sent out words to all the clubs in the premier league to call up their players and managers that left England to their homes to meet their family.
The EPL was held on hold on te 13th of March and fans have been hoping for the re-opening of the league ever since. An update did came through that a project called “PROJECT RESTART” was being put in place.

This to make the players resume training and play indoor matches in order to finish the season as UEFA has asked all European leagues to decide on a date of resumption by May 25 and if they would cancel, a list of the qualifiers for UEFA competition needs to be sent for 2020/2021 season.
According to a report,
“A lot of players are very uncomfortable with coming back.
The only way the league takes this seriously is when someone at a club dies. We will look back on this time with sadness in the future”
According to The UK’s Culture Secretary, Oliver Dowden, he said he has been in talks with some club to resume the league “as soon as possible”.
