The former wife of the Ooni of Ife, Queen Naomi Ogunwusi, has been reported to have been pulling strings, pleading with some elders to have her return back to her husband, the Ooni of Ife.
Queen Naomi announced her divorce from the Osun King back in 2021, December but had refused to drop her Royal name.
According to reports, the Ooni is also planning a lavish wedding for the new Queen. According to online sources, Queen Mariam Ogunwusi, who is still in the honeymoon phase of her marriage and adjusting to life as a Queen, is organizing her brand wedding for October.

The site also stated that it has caused an uproar in Queen Naomi’s family. Many social media users weighed in on the report.
The post reads;
“She must have thought it foolish to still retain the post nine months after she put it up. While she ran from pillar to post on who would appease the king to accept her back, she didn’t deem it fit to pull down the post. Now, when she knew the king had made up his mind to bring in his new queen, she pulled down the post. But this is coming late. Her feet have been swept off the palace and she cannot return there again,” palace sources revealed exclusively to Kemi Ashefon.
