In the early hours of Wednesday morning, October 26th, 2022, hundreds of people could be seen to have marched to a bank to demand the closure of their accounts and the withdrawal of their money saved.
The people seen in the trending video below are customers of the Union Bank of Nigeria. In a video made, a customer had gone to complain about receiving funds from two different people yesterday and she has not been credited.
The enraged customer claimed the fund had left the account of the sender and it’s been hours since they sent the fund.

She said she met several other people at the bank with the same issue and the officers are not properly attending to them.

cyude– There is a massive migration of bank workers in Nigeria to the UK and Canada recently. Some of these workers resign and still “retain” the log in details of the bank which they use to trigger unauthorised transactions using costumers’ details. Stay safe and guard your funds guys!

itz_officialmayorsnr– The fact that CBN is not doing anything about this matter make it worse. How can an institutions under ur supervision be misbehaving in these grossly fraudulent, unethical and incompetent manner and nothing is being heard from the regulator?
