Senegalese govt reopens mosques and churches amid rising cases of Coronavirus in the country

The government of the Republic of Senegal has given an order to reopen worship places, Churches, and Mosques in the country.

The President of Senegal, Macky Sall made the announcement despite having an increasing number of cases of Coronavirus in the country.

The country has recorded 1,886 Coronavirus cases so far with 19 deaths in total.

The president has given an order of curfew in the country which was from 6 am to 8 pm but with the new development, the time will be shortened by an hour in the morning and evening.

President Macky Sall in a nationwide broadcast said;

“In the best of cases, COVID-19 will continue to circulate in the country until the month of August, or even September.

“In this new phase that will last not a few weeks but three or four months, we need to learn to live in the presence of the virus.”
