After 126 days in their custody, the publisher and convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare have finally been released on Thursday night.
Sowore was arrested on August 3 for planning a series of protests to demand good governance.
On the 6th of November, Sowore first met his bail, but he was not released. SSS was given a 24 hours ultimatum to release Sowore by a federal Judge.

Mr Sowore’s lawyer, Femi Falana has confirmed that the SSS also paid N100,000 fine to Mr Sowore as ordered by the judge.
