Veteran filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan has taken a swipe at a fan that condemned his latest movie, Citation, over subtitle issues in other languages.
The follower had taken to Twitter to commend Kunle Afolayan for the effort put into making the movie a 5-star while adding a ‘but.’
The follower wrote:
“@kunleafolayan Citation Is A Great Film No Doubt, But Non Subtitle Of French Part Is A Great Disservice To The Movie.”
However, it turns out that the movie has subtitles in different languages on authorized movie streaming platforms and the follower likely watched on an unauthorized platform.
In reaction, the actor wrote;
“You are a very stupid idiot. That’s what you get if you keep downloading films from unauthorized streaming platforms. Omo ale.”
