The 12-year-old, Farshina Ibrahim was reported to have been raped by 11 adults in Dutse Local Government Area, Jigawa State. All the men who were involved in the barbaric act were arrested by the police.
Farshina Ibrahim has expressed her desire to go back to school to fulfill her dream of being literate and to fulfill her ambitions of becoming a Doctor to lift her family out of poverty.
According to a report by Daily Post, Farshina Ibrahim is the second child of her mother out of eight children and she is reported to be hardworking.

Farshina Ibrahim sells pure water and other little items in the market to support her family. She attends Galamawa Junior secondary school in Dutse and is in JSS 1 before she was raped repeatedly by different men.
According to the mother of Farshina Ibrahim, she said the 11 men took advantage of the little girl because the father was not around.
She said the husband and father of her eight children left Jigawa for Burkina Faso and on finding out why he left, Daily Post says Malam Ibrahim left because he has too much debt in his community to pay.

The girl in an interview with Daily Post when they visisted her said;
“The incident started when I was selling fresh pepper and tomato, an old man asked me to take it to his house that he wants to buy, unfortunately when I git there, the house was empty, he then followed me with one other person and closed the door”.
“Two of them closed my mouth, raped me at the same time I cried for help but no one could hear me, they then threatened to kill me if I dare tell anybody about the incident ”

“Days after another man followed me to a stream where we are washing our clothes and raped me”
“Another one also raped me when I was coming back home from school”
“That is how they have been sharing me, whoever rapes me will tell another person, threatening to kill me for revealing it to my mother or any other person”.
Farshina Ibrahim has been tested multiple times and it is a relief that she contracted no disease of any kind from the men.
