Hushpuupi who was arrested on the 5th of June for a cyber crime offence of N169 Billion. H was arrested in Dubai as the story goes and has been taken to the US to face judgement.
He was arrested with his friend Woodberry and 11 others in Dubia in their hotels.

In reply, the OAP said Hushpuppi should not be judged yet as he is not found guilty yet by the supreme court, and that when he went to meet the suspected fraudster, he was only doing his job as an exclusive interviewer.

In a viral video which surfaced on the internet on Youtube early this year, Jan 2020, a video with the title ‘Dino Melaye hosts star-studded birthday party in Dubai, Hushpuppi, others attend,’ Melaye was seen having a friendly chat with Hushpuppi with some others.
And later, Dino Melaye posted a picture of them on Twitter with the caption “The company you keep is not always a reflection of who you are.”
