Uche Ogbodo, a Nollywood actress, has admitted her errors and apologized to Nigerians for backing Yul Edochie’s decision to take a second wife.
When the news of Yul Edochie’s affair and secret marriage to his colleague and baby mama, Judy Austin, broke, Uche Ogbodo was one of the few celebrities that supported him.
She had gone to his second wife’s Instagram comment area to express her feelings for her.

After the news broke, Judy Austin posted a lovely photo of herself, and Uche Ogbodo gushed about her in the comments section.
She added a comment “My Girl”
Her remark, however, did not sit well with Nigerians, who dragged her for it.
Uche Ogbodo even got filthy with her detractors, slamming them in a series of Instagram posts. Uche Ogbodo made a U-turn after realizing her mistakes and proclaimed love for May Yul Edochie. In a statement, she stated that her remarks on Yul Edochie’s second wife had sparked a lot of controversies.
She stated unequivocally that she opposes polygamy and would never support it. May, according to Uche Ogbodo, did not deserve to go through what the actor put her through. She expressed her affection for her and stated that she supports her.
“There has been a lot of controversy over my comments on Yul Edochie’s second wife post on the day the news broke out! I just want to say I Uche Ogbodo would never support polygamy, I don’t appreciate it, and would never indulge directly in it. That is he I of all the pain it brings to all the parties involved! No woman deserves to go through what may and her children might be going through right now. May is an amazing woman,love and respect her. So in actual sense, I am with May with all my heart….and not what the lots of you actually think because if my comment on Judy’s posts. I was only catching cruise with my haters!”
